We are very excited about the new treatise. Intended for the practitioner, it encapsulates virtually every area of insurance law, with extensive case citations, together with references to other works in the Matthew Bender library, to guide further research. Where practice in a particular area of insurance law may conceal traps for the unwary, these are made plain as well. The emphasis is always firmly on the practical -- the "hows," not just the "whys," of the insurance field. And all in one convenient place. It has been both a pleasure and a privilege to be involved in this endeavor.
