ProfitCents Analyst Reports are published by Sageworks. Sageworks uses fundamental data from SEC filings to produce objective and unbiased analyses of the operating performance of approximately 7,500 publicly traded U.S. companies. As each company releases its earnings reports, Sageworks will provide ProfitCents Analyst Reports that evaluate the company’s financial condition. For each company, Sageworks generates two reports, one showing data for the most recent fiscal year with comparisons to the previous year; and another showing data for the most recent fiscal quarter with comparisons to the previous quarter. Each report will include fundamental financial data and an analysis of key financial measures, with comparisons to industry averages, for: Liquidity, Profits & Profit Margin, Borrowing, and Assets. Sageworks uses traditionally accepted financial analysis techniques, then translates the financial numbers into plain-language reports that can be used to interpret and evaluate potential investment opportunities: Is revenue increasing or decreasing? How much profit is the company earning? Does it have enough cash to meet obligations? Is the company operating efficiently? Using leverage effectively?
