New Law Firm Profiles at martindale.com® Dig Deeper into Practice Capabilities

Select the COUNSEL SELECTOR tab at lexis.com® and move directly to the main screen at martindale.com.* There’s so much you can do from this screen:

  • Check lawyer/law firm profiles.
  • Tap into free, full-text legal articles.
  • Check out the professional resources—and not just for firm lawyers. Find unique content for corporate counsel, information on law schools, bar associations, legal careers and CLE opportunities.
  • Search a database of more than 50,000 expert witnesses, process servers, court reporters and other legal market service providers.

And now you get much more from the law firm profiles. Based on input from corporate counsel and other legal-services buyers, the new profiles deliver deeper insights into a firm’s experience and abilities. Even find third-party information such as CourtLink® docket and atVantage™ business-development details, like recent mergers & acquisitions practice activity.

There’s also a new look and more navigation options. Find profiles divided into easy-to-access, tabbed sections:

  • Overview—quick links to all other profile sections.
  • People—provides links to the lawyers’ professional biographies; you can refine by practice area and office if you choose.
  • Practice Areas & Industries—the firm’s statement of practice, group profiles and other information about its practice and experience; you can also refine by office.
  • Offices and locations.
  • Diversity programs (displays for Diversity Profiles subscribers only)—details the mix of minority and non-minority lawyers in the firm; also find the numbers of gender types, minority and non-minority lawyers and staff.
  • Legal Articles—available on martindale.com, authored by firm members.
  • Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings—a combined overview on all firm lawyers.
  • U.S. Federal Litigation Activity—the top practice areas and jurisdictions where the firm has represented clients in U.S. District Court (covers a rolling two-year period).
  • Transactional Activity—the total number of mergers & acquisitions—and the dollar volume of those deals over the past two years, as reported by FactSet®.
