Cindy Spohr
Cindy is the Senior Librarian Relations Marketing Manager for the LexisNexis Librarian Relations Group, and has held various positions within the company since 1985. Prior to joining LexisNexis, Cindy was the Law Librarian at Smith & Schnacke, A Legal Professional Association.
Cindy manages Librarian Relations Group projects such as the LexisNexis presence at the American Association of Law Libraries Annual Meeting, the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference, the LexisNexis Librarian Advisory Board, and the Advanced Management for Private Law Librarians (AMPLL) and Teaching Research in Private Law Libraries (TRIPLL) conferences. She also manages the LexisNexis customer communication vehicles, such as the InfoPro Web site, the LexisNexis Information Professional Update newsletter, the InfoPro Weekly ecommunication, the LexisNexis Corporate Information Professional Update newsletter, and the InfoPro Monthly ecommunication.
Cindy is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, Special Libraries Association and the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries. She is currently the Vice Chair of the AALL Public Relations Committee. She chaired and served on various committees for these associations.
Cindy attended Indiana University, where she received a B.A. in Psychology and English and an M.L.S. She also completed the M.B.A. program at the University of Dayton.
