One of the timeliest environmental issues at the forefront today is the requirements and compliance for “green” buildings. Corporations are trying to save money and meet EPA requirements by building or retro-fitting structures so they are considered “green.” As a result, lawyers today are looking at a variety of issues and opportunities involved with helping their clients reduce their carbon footprint.
Get the latest information from the LexisNexis Environmental Practice Center. Examples of sources available include This Week in Green Buildings, and the Green Buildings and Sustainable Development Pamphlet. And these are just two of the sources available that will give you background information and analysis.
To select the LexisNexis Environmental Practice Center, click the TRANSACTIONAL ADVISOR tab. Then choose Environmental. If you click Track Emerging Issues, you’ll discover that Green Buildings has its own category. Within it, you have several very useful resources to choose from.
