U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Official Gazette (May 5, 2010)
By Gayle Lynn-Nelson
I have classification numbers that I need to monitor on a weekly basis. I generally use the USPTO Web site for the Official Gazette but could not figure out a way to do this.
LexisNexis® now has complete coverage of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Official Gazette. If you are looking to track issues such as classification numbers this can be done on lexis.com® by setting up an alert. You can then decide how often you want to be alerted and stay up-to-date and current and not have to check on the Web site each day/week/month or log on to lexis.com each day/week/month. The alert will run for you and let you know when new information is available. Some other areas you might want to track include the following: inventor, assignee, filed date, prior publications, number of claims. The Official Gazette at lexis.com is a cumulative file. It is not limited to the current 52 weeks of the year. Patent searchers use the Official Gazette to retrieve and analyze a lengthy list of patents in a short time. We have what you need!
