1. You are traveling around the world, and only have room for two books. Which two do you take and why?
Shel Silverstein’s Where the Sidewalk Ends because inevitably I will end up sitting next to the most restless child on the longest flight and this book offers hours entertainment and amusement to children of all ages.
Michael Powell’s Behave Yourself: The Essential Guide to International Etiquette so I act appropriately and do not offend anyone from Bangladesh to Zimbabwe!
2. Tell me a song that when you hear it, you always get a smile on your face.
Billy Joel’s “Piano Man.” My dad played it for me on his guitar in lieu of a bedtime story. It makes me smile because I was eight or nine years old before I realized that guy on the radio played it first!
3. What do you order at Starbucks?
Tall, decaf mocha, no whip, and usually hot, but sometimes on ice. ALWAYS decaf!
4. What is your favorite meal and why?
Miso soup and sushi. I could easily eat it every day and be perfectly content!
5. What are two of your favorite Web sites, and why?
Wisekat.com and overstock.com because I’m a bit of an online shopping fanatic!
