AALL Opening Event at the Library of Congress
Saturday, July 25, 2009
8:30 — 10:30 p.m.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Tour the treasured Americana of the Library of Congress with your treasured colleagues and friends … while savoring rich, spectacular desserts of all kinds. The Library of Congress, who is co-hosting the evening with LexisNexis and the AALL, is rolling out the red carpet and many of its American exhibits, while LexisNexis is rolling out confections—pies, cakes, even samples of Jefferson’s own ice cream recipe. What a perfect prelude to the AALL meeting … exploring our past before we innovate for our future. You must have your Opening Event Ticket to pass through library security — no exceptions.
