Have you ever been asked to provide a list of companies operating in China? An attorney or business development professional may need this list to find a company to recommend to a client for a joint venture or as a manufacturer of one of their products.

Follow the path: News & Business > Country & Region (excluding U.S.) > Asia Pacific > Company & Financial > Mergent Private Chinese Companies.
Use segments to formulate a search that will narrow the list of companies. Especially helpful are segments for:
- Employees (<, =, or >)
- Revenues (<, =, or >)
- Industry
For example, construct this search:
Employees> (500) and Revenues> (1,000,000,000) and Industry (soap or toiletries)
You now have a targeted list of companies to give to the requestor.
