Quickly Access Favorite Sources (May 20, 2009)
Do you find yourself needing the same specific source for a project, and you want an easy way to get directly to it? The Recently Used Sources drop-down list displays the last 20 sources you have searched. You can find the Recently Used Sources tab in the first box, Option 1 – Search, next to the Quick Search tab. When a new source is searched, the first source listed which has been on the list the longest rotates out. To immediately access any of these last 20 sources, highlight its name from the drop-down list and click on it.
You can also use the Recently Used Sources as a tool to keep your favorite sources easily accessible. Click the Edit Sources button next to the drop-down list and then check the box next to the source you want to keep accessible. These source titles will turn blue and will not rotate out of your Recently Used Sources list.
If you find that you no longer need quick access to a source and you want it to rotate out of your drop-down list, you can easily change its permanent listing. Once again you click on the Edit Sources button and then un-check the box next to a source. Now it will reenter the rotation-out cycle.
Take advantage of Recently Used Sources and save yourself some clicks!
