Take a Coffee Break on us . . . LexisNexis® Coffee Break Webinar Series (March 4, 2009)
If it comes from LexisNexis, then the library staff must know about it, right? Many librarians have been asking LRC Danielle Francis about topical Webinars mentioned to them by attorneys and paralegals. She receives questions such as: What are they? Who are they for? How do I access them? What topics are covered? Is there a cost to the firm?
Most often the attorneys are referring to the LexisNexis® Coffee Break Webinar Series. This series of Webinars is offered to all researchers who use LexisNexis products. The current schedule as well as recordings of previous sessions can be easily accessed on the LexisNexis Coffee Break Webinar Series home page. The Coffee Break Webinars are offered via live sessions, which require a simple registration, and are also recorded so that they can be viewed at your convenience. The recordings are available via the On Demand tab on the LexisNexis Coffee Break Webinar Series home page.
Coffee Break Webinars cover a range of topics such as geographic resources (domestic and international), practice areas (such as environmental or intellectual property), or specific LexisNexis tools (such as Precedent Search or LexisNexis® Analyzer). There is no cost to attend a live session or to listen to a recording. A subscription to a LexisNexis product is not required.
