Whatever happened to COMPNY; COMPNY? (February 13, 2008)

Were you a fan of the COMPNY; COMPNY library and file on LexisNexis®? An easy way to recreate that source is to use a Guided Search Form. When the Search tab is selected, there is a toolbar highlighted right below it with the tabs “by Source,” “by Topic or Headnote,” "by Guided Search Form,” and “by Dot Command.” Select the “by Guided Search Form” button. From the list of Guided Search Forms, select the Company link. Now you see a template search screen. The template utilizes segment searching, which saves you having to construct the search. Enter a company name. From the drop-down list of sources select the first item “All Company Information (excluding Investext®)” and run the search. You have reconstructed the COMPNY; COMPNY results!

If you find the Guided Search Forms convenient, you can bookmark this direct link.
