lexis.com® – Customize Your Tabs (March 18, 2009)

Many of us customized our lexis.com tabs a long time ago and haven't really given much thought to them since. The lexis.com service allows you to create custom tabs to easily surface your most commonly used jurisdictions and areas of law. If you haven't looked at the options under the Add/Edit tabs recently you might want to give them another look. New tabs have been created to keep up with topics our customers are interested in now. Financial Crisis Litigation and Financial Services Industry—Critical Issues are just two of the topics you can create custom tabs for!

To add a new Area of Law tab simply:

  • Select an item in the list and either double-click it or click the ADD button to add the item as a tab.
  • Click MOVE UP or MOVE DOWN to move a selected current tab up or down in your list of tabs. This moves your selected current tab closer to or farther away from the standard tabs on the first row of the source selection page.
  • Click DONE to save changes.

You can keep up to 18 standard and custom tabs at a time. Standard tabs cannot be removed or reordered, but you can remove or reorder a custom tab at any time.
