Forgot ID? (April 3, 2012)

We understand how hard it is to keep up with IDs and Passwords these days. While lexis.com® has had a prompt for forgotten passwords for a number of years now, we’ve recently added a prompt for those who have forgotten their ID as well.
To access this feature, click on “Forgot ID” under the ID box on the sign-in screen. You will have to put in a security code that is displayed on the screen. (This prevents machine “bots” from continually bombarding this feature with requests.) Once you’ve entered that code, you’ll be prompted for your email address on record. After you enter your email address, the system will send your ID within minutes. (If you don’t receive it, please contact LexisNexis® Customer Support at 1-800-543-6862.)
If, as so often happens, you’ve forgotten both your ID and your Password, you’ll have to request these two items separately. This provides an additional level of security for you and your firm.
