The International Bar Association (IBA), established in 1947, is an organization of international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. The IBA influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world. It has a membership of more than 45,000 individual lawyers and over 200 bar associations and law societies spanning all continents. It has considerable expertise in providing assistance to the global legal community.

The following 6 publications are now offered at lexis.com by various departments and committees within the IBA:

Business Law International: the leading law journal devoted to issues of relevance to the international commercial, legal and academic community. Its articles break new ground on legal issues, provide an in-depth discussion of current developments and timely issues, particularly those with a cross-border focus, and offer a survey of the law in areas of particular interest to our international readership. This file contains articles, comments, reviews of court decisions, book reviews and other documents from Business Law International, from January 2008, published by the Legal Practice Division of the International Bar Association.

Competition Law International: provides an insight into international competition law issues with articles that are of practical interest. Published twice a year, the journal reaches 1,400 competition law practitioners worldwide. This file contains articles, comments, reviews of court decisions, book reviews and other documents from the journal, Competition Law International, from 2005 (Vol. 1), published by the Antitrust & Trade Law Section of the International Bar Association.

Construction Law International: the magazine of the IBA International Construction Projects Committee. Published quarterly, this thought-provoking magazine has a balance of substantive and practical articles and news. This file contains articles, comments, country updates, reviews of court decisions, book reviews and other documents from Construction Law International from 2008.

Dispute Resolution International: aims to cover issues of relevance to the international dispute resolution community and provides an in-depth discussion of current developments and topical issues in all areas of dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution, and negligence and damages. Edited by Andrew Foyle, a barrister at One Essex Court, London, and an Editorial Board comprising leading practitioners from around the world, and reaching over 3,250 dispute resolution practitioners, Dispute Resolution International is published twice a year. This file contains articles, comments, reviews of court decisions, book reviews and other documents from Dispute Resolution International, from January 2008, published by the Dispute Resolution Section of the Legal Practice Division of the International Bar Association.

Journal of Energy & Natural Resources Law: published quarterly by the Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (SEERIL), of the International Bar Association. The Editor is assisted by an Editorial Advisory Board comprised of members of the Academic Advisory Board (AAG) of SEERIL. Together, the Editor and the Editorial Advisory Board bring to the journal an unsurpassed expertise in all areas of energy and natural resources law. This file contains articles, comments, reviews of court decisions, book reviews and other documents from the Journal of Energy & Natural Resources Law, from 2008.

IBA Arbitration Newsletters: These newsletters from the IBA Arbitration Committee focuses on laws, practice and procedures relating to the arbitration of transnational disputes. They are generally published in March and September and begin with March 2008.
