Bar Associations

The American Bar Association is the principle national association for U.S. attorneys. In addition to representing the interests of attorneys, the ABA provides CLE programs and publishes many excellent legal publications. The ABA Web site (www.abanet.org) posts information about the ABA, ABA programs and publications. For questions, call the ABA's main phone number (312-988-5000); to order ABA publications call the ABA Service Center (800-285-2221). See also, "American Bar Association."

State Bar Associations: Addresses and telephone numbers of state bar associations are posted by the ABA Division for Bar Services. Links to state bar Web sites are posted by the ABA Division for Bar Services and FindLaw.

Foreign Bar Associations: FindLaw posts links to U.S. and foreign bar association Web sites.
