Commodities Futures Trading Commission

The CFTC is the Federal agency responsible for regulating futures trading. Most CFTC materials are posted on the CFTC's Web site (www.cftc.gov) and/or published in the CCH Commodity Futures Law Reporter. The reporter is available in print as a looseleaf and electronically on Westlaw (CCH-CFLR).

CFTC decisions -- including orders and interpretive letters -- are also available through Lexis (FEDSEC/CFTC) back to March, 1976 (FEDSEC/CFTC) and Westlaw (FSEC-CFTC for decisions back to 1976 and ALJ decisions back to 1983; FSEC-CFTC for letters back to 1987).

For questions, the Commission's phone number is 202-418-5030.
