The Indiana Law Encyclopedia provides a detailed discussion of Indiana legal topics. The Encyclopedia is available on Westlaw (IN-ENC). You can search the Encyclopedia along with a other Indiana practice treatises using Westlaw's INPRACLIB database.

Legislative History: Legislative history materials including are available in the Session Archives starting in 2000. You can find Fiscal Impact Statements, Committee Reports and other Committee materials clicking on the "Bills and Resolutions" and "Complete Information for All Bills" links and then clicking on the relevant bill number. Also check the House and Senate Journals, which includes floor actions and Governor's Messages. Note: Indiana does not keep transcripts or recordings of legislative debates or hearings. Published and unpublished decisions of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and Tax Court are posted on the Indiana Courts web site; older opinions are available in the Judicial Opinions Archive (coverage: Supreme and Appellate Court, 1999-2005; Tax Court, 1988-2005). For better searching, official citations and internal page cites use Google Scholar (back to 1950). For comprehensive databases use Lexis or Westlaw.
