Find

Lawsuits, pending

To find out if a person or business is involved in a pending lawsuit, you can search:

(a) A docket sheet database that gets data from the relevant court system (see "Docket Sheets");

(b) A lawsuit database on a system such as Accurint, KnowX.com, Westlaw (use the "LS" database to search the whole U.S. or "XX-LS" for an individual state) to find state civil lawsuits (i.e., not criminal or Federal);

(c) A legal news databases on Lexis or Westlaw;

(d) Google, Bing or another good search engine;

(e) anything else you can think of.
