PLI is best known for holding seminars in areas of current interest to the legal community and for publishing "Course Handbooks" that contain the outlines or text of the seminar presentations. PLI also publishes many fine legal treaties.
PLI Course Handbooks and Treatises are available in print and through PLI's Discover Plus eBook Library (subscription only). In addition, PLI treatises are available through Bloomberg Law, and PLI Course Handbooks are available (back one year only) through the PLI website. subscriptions are required for all the electronic alternatives. Note: PLI materials are no longer available on Lexis or Westlaw as of 2012.
