Rent Stabilization

Rent stabilization is a form of rent control. New York City and Berkeley, California both have rent stabilization laws.

Berkeley: Rent stabilization laws and related information for Berkeley, California, are posted by Berkeley's Rent Stabilization Board.

New York: The text of New York City's Rent Stabilization law is published in the "Unconsolidated Laws" volume of McKinney's Consolidated Laws of New York Annotated as an unconsolidated law at §26-501 et seq., which follows §8617.
