United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit hears appeals from district courts in Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.

The Court posts local rules and procedures, forms, Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions, etc. The Court Calendars page provides argument calendars, the court's sitting schedule, oral argument procedures and special citation rules.

The Court's opinions are available free on the Court web site (1994-present), on Google Scholar (1920s-present) abnd on FindLaw (1995-present). For deeper databases, nicer printing, official pagination, etc., use Lexis, Westlaw, LOIS, FastCase or Versuslaw.
