Litigation Skills vs. Transactional Skills - A law school professor of mine described the different ways that litigators vs. transactional attorneys think.  I'd be curious to hear what people perceive as the core differences and how to figure out which type of practice I am better equipped for?

It seems to me that a core difference between the two is that litigators are driven by winning and competition and are not afraid of confrontation. Transactional attorneys are more interested in preventing disputes and providing a service.
