Powell Goldstein Continues Strategic Expansion With Addition of Two Litigators in Dallas Office
ATLANTA – Powell Goldstein LLP announced Monday that Walter A. Herring and Jay L. Krystinik have joined the firm's Dallas office, Mr. Herring as a partner and Mr. Krystinik as an associate. Both are members of Powell Goldstein's litigation services group.
Mr. Herring, 49, comes to the firm from Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, where he was a litigation partner. His practice is primarily focused in business litigation, particularly real estate and commercial mortgage-backed securities litigation and related issues. In addition, Mr. Herring regularly represents health-care clients in litigation involving general professional liability defense and peer-review matters. Mr. Herring holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and an undergraduate degree in both economics and history from Stanford University.
Mr. Krystinik comes to the firm from Kirkpatrick Lockhart Preston Gates LLP, where he was an associate. His litigation practice focuses on general litigation matters, including real estate, environmental and employment litigation as well as bankruptcy matters. Mr. Krystinik holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.
