HOUSTON — EMS Group, a North American provider of operations and maintenance services to the energy industry, has announced that Rex Prosser has been appointed director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Compliance to oversee and manage the EHS & Compliance requirements throughout the EMS organization.

EMS Group, headquartered in Houston’s Galleria area, is recognized as one of the largest providers of operations and maintenance services to the energy industry in North America and the sixth fastest growing privately held company in the Houston area, according to the Houston Business Journal.

Before joining EMS, Prosser was an Emergency Management Program Manager for the Citgo Petroleum Corporation.  He is a current member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the International Association of Emergency Managers.
