LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. — KSW Inc. has announced that Chief Executive Officer Floyd Warkol has been appointed to the New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Construction Costs, which will provide guidance to the DEP on its capital construction program.

The DEP faces the challenge of planning, designing and constructing the city’s water supply and distribution systems and wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure.  The panel’s goal is to use the members’ experience and expertise to assist the DEP’s evaluation of cost controls and project delivery alternatives.
