SEATTLE — Marten Law Group attorneys have several speaking engagements lined up at environmental conferences in June and July.

 

Partner Jeff Kray will speak on “The Evolving Law of Corps Jurisdiction:  Post-Rapanos Guidance on Jurisdiction Over Ephemeral and Intermittent Waters” at the second day of Law Seminars International’s (LSI) Clean Water and Stormwater 2008 Regulations and Compliance Strategies conference June 5 and 6 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center here.  Marten Law attorney Steve Jones will give a “Litigation Update” on the second day.

 

Managing Partner Brad M. Marten is scheduled to present the "Defendant's Perspective" for a session entitled "Settlement of NRD Litigation" that will be held during LSI’s Natural Resource Damages conference July 17 and 18 in Santa Fe, N.M.
 
Jessica Ferrell is scheduled to speak at the 54th Annual Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Institute in Snowmass, Colo., July 17-19.  On July 17, she will present a paper that Steve Jones will co-author with her entitled "Project Development in the Shadow of Climate Change.”
