Judge rules against former Gen Re, AIG executives
HARTFORD Conn. – (AP) A judge has rejected requests to overturn the convictions of former insurance executives in a scheme to manipulate financial statements of the world's largest insurance company. Four former General Re Corp executives and a former American International Group Inc. executive were convicted of conspiracy, securities fraud, mail fraud and making false SEC statements.
