Heelys settles patent and trademark infringement lawsuit with Elan-Polo, will get $1.4 million
DALLAS Tex. (AP) -- Heelys Inc., which makes wheeled shoes, said it settled a patent and trademark infringement lawsuit with Elan-Polo Inc., which designs and markets footwear, and will receive a $1.4 million payment.
Elan-Polo will pay $750,000 immediately and the rest in three installments ending in February 2010. Full version available to lexis.com subscribers.
