A. Kenneth "Ken" Levine is a 1990 graduate of Tulane University Law School, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business of
Tulane
University .
In addition to The Florida Bar, Mr. Levine is admitted to the Bar of the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, Eleventh, District of Columbia and Federal Circuits, and to the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association, the Federation of Regulatory Counsel and the International Association of Insurance Receivers.
Mr. Levine heads the Insurance and Financial Services practice group of a state- wide
Florida law firm, and maintains an active insurance regulatory and business practice. Before entering private practice, he served as Counsel and later, Senior Counsel with the Division of Legal Services and the Office of Chief of Staff of the Florida Department of Insurance (now, the Florida Department of Financial Services). While with the Department, he also led the agency's prosecution of unauthorized entities in federal courts from Florida to
California .
Mr. Levine has authored articles on diverse business, insurance and administrative litigation topics, and is a nationally recognized authority on warranties and service contracts.
