Alan E. Sherman is a Texas attorney Board Certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and his Master of Laws degree in Taxation from Georgetown University.
His professional memberships include: the State Bar of Texas (Past Chair, Section of Taxation); the American Bar Association (Past Chair, State Tax Procedures Subcommittee of the Committee on State and Local Taxes); and the Dallas Bar Association (Member, Section of Taxation).
