Marten Law Group attorney Laura Fandino focuses her legal practice on environmental and natural resource litigation. She has special expertise in water quality, climate change policy, and ocean and coastal resource issues, holding a PhD in Marine Biology from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. She frequently assists in the analysis of state, federal and international climate change policies and helps develop carbon management strategies for clients.
Laura previously worked as a legal/policy advisor for the California Coastal Conservancy. She has been an active participant in the University of Washington’s Environmental Law Clinic and was a volunteer science educator for minority high school students in San Diego.
