While attending Cornell Law School, Richard Lewis was a member of the Cornell Law Review and the Cornell International Law Journal. Mr. Lewis has worked as a litigator at since 1992, and has experience litigating a wide variety of first- and third-party insurance coverage issues. Mr. Lewis has also authored and co-authored several articles on insurance coverage practice.
Mr. Lewis is Co-Chair of the Property Insurance Subcommittee of the American Bar Association, Section on Litigation, Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee since 2002, and has been a member of the faculty of the Practising Law Institute, focusing on property and business interruption issues, since 2000.
Mr. Lewis is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, California and New York. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Cornell Law School and earned a B.A. from Oberlin College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
