Barry S. Pearlman founded Pearlman, Borska & Wax in May of 1984 with the goal of specializing in workers' compensation defense, subrogation, and employment-related issues. The firm has expanded each year to its current configuration consisting of four equity partners, four non-equity partners, litigation specialists and various support staff.

Pearlman, Borska & Wax has never lost its focus in providing counseling and litigation services to employers, insurance carriers, and third party administrators. Over the years, the firm has developed an outstanding reputation for professionalism, innovation, and a high level of client satisfaction. The firm is politically active to ensure that its clients' concerns are voiced to the Administration and Legislature.

The firm has always prided itself on its "cutting-edge" and aggressive approach to litigation, as well as tailoring cost-effective solutions to its clients' workers' compensation issues. With more than 20 years of experience, the firm's attorneys offer wide-ranging expertise in handling all types of alleged work injuries, including exotic disease injuries, high-exposure injuries and novel legal issues. The firm also provides cost-free educational and training programs for its clients. Recent programs have included Upcoming Changes in the Law, Fraud and Restitution, Vocational Rehabilitation and the ADA, Getting Smart With Work Injuries, and Subrogation.

Located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, the firm covers Appeals Boards in a wide geographic area, from Santa Barbara to Riverside to San Diego and all points in between.
