Carrie Cope is a partner in the Chicago office of Tressler, Soderstrom, Maloney & Priess, LLP where she specializes in insurance law and has two synchronized practice areas of insurance regulation and specialty lines claim handling. In her regulatory practice, she represents insurers, agents, brokers, reinsurers, reinsurance intermediaries, alternative risk insurance groups and third party administrators on a wide variety of regulatory and compliance issues. She also has over fifteen years of experience in providing specialty lines’ claim handling and coverage consulting services to the insurance industry. Her coverage practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of directors’ and officers’ liability, professional liability, miscellaneous errors and omissions insurance and employment practices liability. She is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and she recently authored a chapter which will be published in the New Appleman Insurance Law Practice Guide.
