Eric R. Benton is a member of Lorance & Thompson, P.C. Prior to joining Lorance & Thompson, Mr. Benton served as in-house counsel to a multi-billion dollar international transportation corporation for nearly 15 years. He has experience representing carriers in all modes of transportation, has assisted clients around the world, and has provided advice on all aspects of international and domestic transportation. He is a frequent lecturer and writer on transportation issues. Mr. Benton received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law where he served as the Comments Editor for the Washburn Law Journal, and received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History from the University of Kansas. He is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: Texas; Kansas; Ohio; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas; U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas; U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; United States Court of International Trade.
