Guy Carpenter Names Hernán Irarrazaval Head of GCFac® in Latin America And Caribbean Region
New York - Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, the leading risk and reinsurance specialist, today announced that it has named Hernán Irarrazaval the leader of GCFac® in the Latin America and Caribbean region. GCFac is the separate, dedicated business unit of Guy Carpenter’s facultative operations.
Mr. Irarrazaval will report directly to Aidan Pope, CEO of Guy Carpenter’s Latin America and Caribbean operations. He will focus on developing new facultative business across the region as well as deepening relationships with existing clients.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Irarrazaval served as Country Head of Guy Carpenter’s offices in Chile, Colombia and Peru. Before joining Guy Carpenter in 1999, he was a reinsurance manager with Marsh for nearly a decade.
