Somaly Mam on Human Trafficking - LexisNexis® Rule of Law Podcast for September 30, 2008
On September 7, 2008, Somaly Mam spoke at Fordham Law School's McNally Amphitheater in connection with the release of her book "The Road of Lost Innocence." Mam explains that her book, which describes her experience as a sex slave, aims to raise awareness about human trafficking and sex slavery in particular. "Why did I write my book?" Mam asks, "Because I want you, all people around the world, to understand what the life of a girl at a brothel is like."
