About the Authors

Dr. Jennifer Christian chaired the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) committee that developed the recent landmark guideline entitled "Preventing Needless Work Disability by Helping People Stay Employed." Dr. Christian is the President of Webility Corporation, as well as the founder and chair of the non-profit 60 Summits Project, and moderator of the Work Fitness & Disability Roundtable, a free multidisciplinary email discussion group now with more than 1,000 members. She is a physician and is board-certified in occupational medicine. Dr. Christian has both an MD and a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Washington in Seattle .
