About the Authors Michael ForbesSolo practitioner
Michael Forbes is a solo practitioner with offices in the Philadelphia area. Mr. Forbes completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, and received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and graduated with Honors in 1984. He graduated Widener School of Law in 1989 and opened the doors to his own law office immediately upon passing the Bar examination. Mr. Forbes focuses his practice on consumer law issues, advising clients on ways to combat abusive collection agencies and correct inaccuracies that the credit reporting agencies report. Over the years he has taught classes to other lawyers for Continuing Legal Education credits. He speaks to local groups and professional organizations about consumer rights and the laws that are available to help.
