Molly Beutz Land & Nicole Kennedy

Molly Beutz Land is an Associate Professor of Law at New York Law School. Prof. Land's scholarship focuses on international intellectual property and the intersection of intellectual property and human rights. At New York Law School, she teaches Civil Procedure, Conflict of Laws, International Intellectual Property, and International Human Rights. Prior to joining New York Law School, Prof. Land was a Visiting Lecturer in Law and the Robert M. Cover / Allard K. Lowenstein Fellow in International Human Rights at Yale Law School. After graduation from Yale Law School in 2001, Prof. Land clerked for the Honorable Denise Cote, U.S. District Judge, in the Southern District of New York. Between 2003 and 2005, she litigated copyright, trademark, and patent cases with Faegre & Benson LLP.
 
Nicole Kennedy is a third-year law student at New York Law School. Her research with Prof. Land focuses on international intellectual property, human rights, and the modern means of collective action. As a research assistant for Baker Hostetler, LLP, she has researched and written extensively on the conflict between auditor requests and the attorney-client privilege in the post-Enron era. As a law student, she concentrates her studies in tax and finance law. Prior to law school, Ms. Kennedy graduated from Stony Brook University with a BA in History and a minor in Art History.
