Rob Witwer Named Partner at Kamlet Shepherd & Reichert, LLP
DENVER – Rob Witwer has joined Kamlet Shepherd & Reichert, LLP, as a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice area. Witwer's experience includes advising public and non-public companies, from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, on an extensive variety of business and transactional matters. He has represented a variety of companies in mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and other corporate combinations. He also has experience with bank financings and sophisticated credit arrangements.
 
In addition to his business law experience, Witwer has served in the Colorado House of Representatives since 2005, representing Evergreen and surrounding areas. While in the legislature, Rep. Witwer successfully sponsored bipartisan legislation to streamline business laws and regulations, increase Colorado's commitment to wind and solar energy, expand public access to open space and improve public education. He has been recognized as a "rising star" in legislative politics by both the Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post.
 
Before joining Kamlet Shepherd, Witwer served as Assistant General Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Molson Coors Brewing Company. In this capacity, he counseled senior management in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate finance, executive compensation, securities and disclosure, strategic planning and compliance.
 
Witwer earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Amherst College. He, his wife Heather and 4 boys live in Golden, Colorado.
