Christie, Parker & Hale Names David J. Steele to Head Newport Beach Office
LOS ANGELES – Christie, Parker & Hale, LLP (CPH), a leading Southern California intellectual property law firm, announced today that David J. Steele has been named managing partner of its Newport Beach office.

"I look forward to expanding our practice in Orange County across all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing and litigation," Steele said. "Our firm's breadth of experience in IP-spanning industries ranging from semiconductor to action-sports equipment-is as diverse as the clients we serve. I am honored to lead the Newport Beach office and build upon CPH's half-century of history and reputation for excellence."

CPH firmwide Managing Partner Gregory Lampert said: "David has spent his entire professional career with Christie, Parker & Hale, joining us while still in law school and, over that time, has made many fine contributions to our firm. With his strong technical background in computer networking, telecommunications and fiber optics, he's certainly the right person to spearhead the growth of our Newport Beach office."

Steele joined CPH in 1998 as a summer clerk while attending Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and became associated following graduation in 2000. His practice focuses on the areas of Internet law and trademark law. Steele earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
