HOUSTON — Gulf Ethanol Corp. has announced its executive search for a new chief executive officer (CEO), chief financial officer (CFO) and director of engineering and design. J.T. Cloud is retiring, and the board of directors is seeking to recruit professional management to continue the implementation and development of its alternative energy technology.
The company is seeking a CEO with public company management experience coupled with knowledge of alternative energy or engineering and design. The CFO will be responsible for company financial reports and with assisting the company with obtaining the financing it will need to complete the testing and development of its biomass pre-processing technology. The director of engineering and design will have operational responsibility for research and development of this, and other technologies acquired by the company, and for overseeing the manufacture and implementation of the company’s technology.
Gulf Ethanol is an alternative energy company focused on developing two types of fuels. For the U.S. market it is developing technologies for the processing of cellulosic biomass into ethanol.
