CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Chicago-based law firm of Meckler Bulger &
Tilson LLP is expanding its name. The firm will now be known as Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson LLP, reflecting the elevation of two of its founding partners - Michael Marick and Steven Pearson - to name partners.

Marick and Pearson are co-chairmen of the firm’s insurance coverage practice, and members of its executive and management committees. They were two of the original 16 partners when the firm opened its doors in 1994.

Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson (MBT) also recently expanded its practice nationally, adding full-service offices in Dallas and Phoenix.

Bruce Meckler, co-chairman of MBT’s executive committee said: “Mike and Steve are two of the country’s finest insurance attorneys. Our name change reflects their significant contributions in building the firm. It also acknowledges their part in our continued growth and success in all of our practice areas - including insurance coverage, labor and employment, attorney fee disputes and general litigation.”
