NEW YORK – Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer (www.pczlaw.com), announced today the addition to its New York office of two resident partners with extensive experience in technology and litigation.
Douglas Gilbert, an intellectual property law litigation specialist and an authority acknowledged by Euromoney's Guide To The World's Leading Patent Law Experts, has litigated patent matters for chemical, pharmaceutical, consumer product, medical device and computer industry clients. A former chairman of the Subcommittee on Litigation Practice and Procedure of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association and member of the ITC committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association, Gilbert was formerly a partner at Fish & Neave, and Ropes & Gray. He holds B.S. degrees in chemical engineering and political science, both from MIT and received his Juris Doctor degree from the New York University School of Law.
Claude R. Narcisse, a registered patent attorney, has extensive prosecution experience in the areas of wireless communications, telephony and fiber optic devices and systems. Narcisse came to PCZL from Greenberg Traurig LLP where he was a shareholder. He was previously corporate counsel for Lucent Technologies' Wireless Technologies Group. In addition to his law degree, Narcisse holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University, and a master's degree in computer science from Polytechnic University.
