The firm's expertise in foreclosure defense fills a growing need in a state where foreclosures continue to set records. In August, 44,000 private homes in Florida -- that's one in every 194 residences -- were in foreclosure, according to RealtyTrac. Foreclosures rose nearly 30 percent over the same month last year, which was a record year in itself. Only Arizona, California and Nevada have higher foreclosure rates than Florida.
