SAN FRANCISCO — Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP, an international Am Law 100 law firm, has announced that it is shortening the legal name of the firm to Thelen LLP.

The name change will be effective Sept. 9 and will better reflect the firm's 80-year history. A single corporate identity also has the added benefit of consistent branding in the domestic and global markets in which Thelen operates.

The change of the legal name follows the firm's decision last year to implement a new "Thelen" logo for purposes of branding and marketing.

Thelen LLP will provides legal services in such practices as Construction, Corporate/Finance, Energy, cross-border M&A and Complex Litigation. Other practice areas of the firm include Labor and Employment, Intellectual Property, Bankruptcy, Domestic and International Tax and Employee Benefits.
