CHICAGO — Irwin S. Zeidman has joined the Chicago law firm Butler Rubin Saltarelli & Boyd LLP as director of technology. At Butler Rubin, he will oversee the firm’s information technology strategy and manage day-to-day technology planning, implementation, purchasing, IT assets and outside relationships.
Previously, he was information technology director at Schwartz Cooper Chartered, where he had worked in various information technology positions since 1992. Before working at Schwartz Cooper, he served in a variety of administrative positions in private industry.
A 1981 graduate of the University of Chicago with honors in the college and departmental honors, his advanced degrees including a Divisional Master’s in the Social Science from the University of Chicago and a Master’s in Philosophy from Columbia University in New York (including entrance into doctoral candidacy).
Formed in 1980, Chicago-based Butler Rubin is a litigation boutique assisting clients nationally and internationally in the core practice areas of reinsurance and commercial litigation, including antitrust, competition law and opt-out antitrust litigation, and products liability and mass tort matters.
