MCLEAN, Va. – PCT Law Group, PLLC announced today that technology attorney Adam S. Kaplan has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Kaplan will be based in PCT Law Group's Washington, D.C. office.
Mr. Kaplan's practice focuses on representing emerging growth and established technology companies. His extensive background includes counseling clients on the acquisition, commercialization, and enforcement of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets as well as preparing a broad range of technology-related agreements in the areas of licensing, outsourcing, joint development, co-branding, distribution, confidentiality and non-disclosure, data mining and privacy, and website development.

Prior to joining PCT, Mr. Kaplan practiced law in the Washington, D.C. offices of K&L Gates LLP and Dickstein Shapiro LLP. He also co-founded a technology-focused startup company and served as its Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law, and received a B.S. from Polytechnic University.
